A solid LiDAR-guided vacuum-mop for budget buyers who want real mapping and decent suction without paying for features they won't use.
We ran the Q7 BF daily for three weeks and never once had to cut hair off the JawScrapers brush -- a claim many robots make and few deliver on. Sometimes the best recommendation is the boring one. The Q7 BF does not have obstacle avoidance, its mop does not lift, and the dock just charges. What it does have is proper LiDAR navigation with multi-floor mapping at a price where most competitors still rely on gyroscopes and guesswork. Eight thousand Pa is adequate for hard floors and low-pile carpet; do not expect miracles on thick rugs. If you have carpet and pets, spend the extra $70 on the Q10 VF instead.

Pros & Cons
What We Like
- + LiDAR navigation with multi-floor mapping is uncommon under $200
- + 8,000Pa suction handles carpets and hard floors well for a budget robot
- + JawScrapers anti-tangle brush means almost no hair maintenance
What Could Be Better
- − No obstacle avoidance sensors — relies on bump-and-navigate approach
- − Mop pad doesn't lift over carpet, so you need to remove it manually for rugs
- − Standard charging dock only — no self-emptying or mop washing
