A futuristic robot that literally steps over obstacles others avoid - buy it at the sale price and ignore the launch MSRP.
The X50 Ultra pioneered the climbing-leg concept that Dreame's own X60 Max has since taken further, and at a typical $999 it is now the least expensive way into ProLeap -- $200 below the L50 Ultra and a full $700 below the X60. The legs genuinely solve a problem no software update ever could: getting over door tracks and raised thresholds that stop most other robots cold. Where things get interesting is the gap between its headline innovation and its everyday cleaning: edge performance is mediocre, and buyers who live in open-plan apartments without thresholds may get more value from a simpler flagship. If your home has the layout challenges the legs were designed for, though, nothing else comes close.
